Remember the first day that I saw you? You said your story won’t be known. This is the story of an angel. The only friend Tom ever knows. His name was Snowy Rhodes. It took me fifteen years to get out of this place, out of the valley and out of your face. I knew you’d never trust your heart again. I spent a lot of time on the other side of the fence. I watched you grow and then I knew your life could not have ended. Snowy Rhodes, we’ve come this far from the autumn day. We’ve never seen the outer layers dripping of decay. You know your story won’t be told, your song will not be sung. You said we’d never miss you when you’re gone. You were wrong. When I fall down, I pick myself back up, I look to God he fills my cup. I never knew you could be trusted. This is the story of my friend, the one whose life will never end, although his body’s broken.
